This unique handmade ceramic spotty dog is fresh from our kiln in the Cit Ma Bon Bottega studio on Lake Constance in Southern Germany.
We've used highly resilient stoneware clay to make each dog (no two are the same!) then carefully hand painted him with 3 layers of underglaze, fired him once in the kiln then glazed with a transparent glaze, fired one more time and finished with a high quality golden string. We've also given him a bright red felt scarf to make sure he looks his best and stays warm. This is a piece that will last a lifetime.
We make each piece individually without a mould so each comes as a totally unique ornament and like any dog, each has his own distinct personality! Each one has his spots in different places and his tail at its own angle.
Each dog comes mounted carefully on his/her own Cit Ma Bon Bottega gift card so if you are giving the ornament as a gift we hope it will look really special.
